56 Christmas In The City “Jambalaya Cafe” 56.59265 Flaw Read 2006 See Pics. Unfortunately whoever originally owned this, i suspect, used the faux wrought iron rail to pull the cafe out of styrofoam and broke off the corner railing on 3rd floor. I was able to reattach the piece that i found with it but there is still 2 small pieces that were not there. Other than that rail, everything else is in excellent condition. The little cafe sign is still in original wrapper and has never been put into holder. There is no outer box only the styrofoam it sets in for storage. I show in last couple of pics, where the railing is off. I also show the damaged styrofoam. I have noticed this is where this particular item gets damaged often. There isnt an easy way to remove it from packing and people end up pulling on the rails.

This was a LARGE collection of Department 56. Christmas in the City series, North Pole series, Northwood series, and more!! I’m not sure if it was a dealer close out or a personal collection, but many of these items have all the original packaging so may be NEW or were used for display purposes in the store. IF there are any issues with items, those details will be noted in each listing. Many RARE or Hard to Find buildings and accessories!! This is your opportunity to add pieces to your collection! This listing: Paramount Hotel #58911. Flashing color-changing lights on fourth floor. Note: sleeve does have a bit of damage from storage. The original bulb was burned out so I replaced with a clear nightlight bulb. The star at the top does not illuminate and I’m not sure if it is all there. The little wires do fit down into building. One of the sisal evergreen trees needs to be glued on again. This was a well-loved piece. I did some light cleaning. May need additional dusting. No other flaws detected! At least on our end!

Dept 56 Christmas At Lakeside Park Pavilion Moving Skaters Lighted W/ Box Read, 3 skaters move around the circle and roof lights up, includes power cord. Condition is “Pre-owned”, 2 blue flags are missing for roof, path worn from skaters, 1 spire broken on roof and bronze paint has bubbles and slight flaking, comes in original Styrofoam and sleeve, both have some shelf wear.

Piano is broken off and needs fixing there might be not all broken pieces there or all of the rope. House shows wear and is chipped. The styrofoam does not have the lid!

This listing: Parkside Holiday Brownstone. Comes with four pieces: the lighted building, “The Last String of Lights” accessory, one City Lit Bare Branch Tree (requires 2 “C” batteries not included or is AC/DC adaptable with Dept 56 #55026 not included), and one bag of Fresh Fallen Snow. NOTE: “The Last String of Lights” accessory has a broken dog. I did not want to attempt to glue it but think it can be repaired. NO other faults detected. Box with styrofoam and packaging materials. At least on our end!

Dept. 56 Chicago Cubs Tavern FlAWED READ Christmas in the City Series

The black pole on the Cubs sign is broken on the tip that inserts into the building. The Cubs sign can be glued onto the building and looks fine, but when it’s glued on the building, the building does not fit in the styrofoam box. So I left the sign unglued. Other than that, there is some paint wear on the Cubs sign. Box also has wear. Very cool building that lights up.
