The Department 56 “East Harbor Ferry” from the Christmas in the City collection is a limited-edition ceramic and porcelain Christmas village piece. Released in 2003, this multicolor painted ferry boat is suitable for furniture and any room in a home. It is a set of 3 pieces, including the ferry, ticket office and the ticket taker in its original form and is designed in a traditional village style. Perfect for collectors, this Christmas village piece from Department 56 brings a festive touch to holiday decor. The ferry’s name may be personalized. This is a brand-new NRFB collector piece. The outer plastic sleeve is still around the box. The pieces have never been removed from the box. I’ve had experience, as well as many of experienced collectors, in the past of taking a piece out of the Styrofoam and it was in there so tight that the Styrofoam either cracked or broke off.
