Pre-owned and in very good condition. The porcelain building is clean with no cracks, chips, or repairs. All paint and details are intact. The interior light works, but the bulb needs to be replaced (standard Department 56 village replacement bulb). Wakefield Books building (East Village Shops collection). Original light cord. Original styrofoam insert. Original box (shows wear, creasing, and torn edges from storage). This is Wakefield Books (#4025243) from the Christmas in the City “East Village Shops” series by Department 56. Beautifully detailed piece with warm lighted windows, festive decorations, and classic storefront design. Perfect for collectors and for expanding any Christmas village display. The building itself is in excellent shape. Only the bulb needs replacement. Box has age-related cosmetic wear.

Spire, chimney pipe, potted tree, and sign are fragile. Please take care to only handle by the solid porcelain sections of the building. Dealer’s display item from a glass-enclosed, display cabinet. The box/sleeve were inadvertently discarded by the dealer’s staff. An EXTRA detachable, hanging sign will be included. These items are frequently lost or damaged. Our packing team places each collectible box under UV light for 10 minutes per exposed surface, which has been shown to eradicate “germs” on the surface.
