RETIRED AND HARD TO FIND. The Checker city cab Co. Was inspired by one of the earliest taxi companies in the United States. Morris marking, of Chicago, IL owned the taxi service as well as the manufacturing company that built the iconic vehicles. Bumble Bee Yellow color was influenced by the founder of hertz car rental and today Yellow is the most popular color for taxis. Designed to reflect the crowded, bustling city lifestyle, our Checker city cab Co. Has two garage bays, the open one features a taxi that has just been serviced. Trimmed with decorative lights over the doors, there is also a 1930s style lamp to light the driveway. 6.78 x 6.1 x 6.3 inches.

This building was inspired by one of the earliest taxicab companies in the United States and its iconic bumble-bee yellow coloring. Design features two garage bays, one with a 3-D cab, and a 1930s lamp above the door. There are several attachments that are very FRAGILE. Please take care to only handle by the solid porcelain sections of the building. The box and sleeve are in excellent shape with very minor shelf wear. We appreciate being contacted for ANY questions, comments or concerns. Our packing team places each collectible box under UV light for 10 minutes per exposed surface, which has been shown to eradicate “germs” on the surface. Specific virus names cannot be listed here per policy (apparently); however, you know which one we are targeting. This process does not harm your collectible nor change the printing on the box.
