At the turn of 20th century, this New York City German restaurant was the place to eat, to be seen and drink good German beer. Located near Union Station in the East Village, it was a favorite of many well known musicians, including William Steinway. The electrical cord and bulb have been tested and both are in good working condition, barely used. Background trees not included.

Department 56 Chirstmas in The City THE FLATIRON BUILDING. This may be my favorite in this collection, because of its simple design and unique shape. They have been maintained, not as a collection, but for display each year and have been maintained in their styrofoam box with the cardboard sleeve. The building itself is in perfect condition (in my opinion, not being an expert, but there are no dings, scratches or other imperfections) and the cardboard sleeve as you can see has some signs of wear, having been kept in a sealed bin along with the rest of the collection. I have not noticed any imperfections at all in this building and it is in working condition. Feel free to ask any questions. I hope this will become a cherished part of your collection.
