Department 56 Flatiron Building Christmas In The City Series With Box New York. Pre-owned in the original styrofoam box and cardboard sleeve. There is shelf wear to the cardboard sleeve and some damage to the styrofoam box. Light tested and does work. Remove the building from the styrofoam box and under is where the light cord is stored and the small piece that goes on the top of the building, that piece is removable. There is also some plastic garland and a wreath included. Please see all photos.

Department 56 Chirstmas in The City THE FLATIRON BUILDING. This may be my favorite in this collection, because of its simple design and unique shape. They have been maintained, not as a collection, but for display each year and have been maintained in their styrofoam box with the cardboard sleeve. The building itself is in perfect condition (in my opinion, not being an expert, but there are no dings, scratches or other imperfections) and the cardboard sleeve as you can see has some signs of wear, having been kept in a sealed bin along with the rest of the collection. I have not noticed any imperfections at all in this building and it is in working condition. Feel free to ask any questions. I hope this will become a cherished part of your collection. Department 56 Christmas In The City collection is one of the most popular Dept 56 Christmas villages. Replica of 22- story triangular building located at 175 Fifth Avenue in Manhattan, New York City. Design includes removable wreaths and garland for holiday decorating. MANY RESALE BUILDINGS DO NOT INCLUDE THESE REMOVABLE PIECES – See pics, still in original bag. Early Release to Department 56 retailer, Fortunoff. The building is in PERFECT shape. There are taped tears, see pics, at the bottom of the sleeve, from years of shelf wear. This was a dealer display piece which was kept in a glass-enclosed cabinet for 2 years. Then stored in it’s original box in a climate-controlled environment. Former store owner is liquidating her inventory. We appreciate being contacted for ANY questions, comments or concerns. Our packing team places each collectible box under UV light for 10 minutes per exposed surface, which has been shown to eradicate “germs” on the surface.
