Once upon a time a young couple named Dick and Jane Bridgins worked in the display department at a local department store. Frustrated by the lack of modern design, they ventured away from the department store to bring a more contemporary style store to Indianapolis. They started The Accent Shop Inc. Today our store focuses more on bridal and gift registry items. We carry a wide range of dinnerware, flatware, glassware and serving pieces as well as cards, collectibles, jewelry, etc. Over the years we have grown in square footage as well as in staff. Some of our best customers have enjoyed working for us over the years and we like to think of them all as part of our family. Expand your Christmas village with this charming vintage Dept 56 “Zoological Garden” building! This delightful piece depicts a wintery zoo scene with polar bears and monkeys, adding a touch of wildlife to your holiday display. Released in 2001, this item is now retired and no longer in production. Measuring 11 ½” wide and 6″ tall, this detailed building is in very good condition and comes with its original box. Please note that this piece is quite heavy. Minor imperfection of the lamppost (pictured). This house/building is in very good condition in the original box. No cracks or indication of misuse or abuse. I have LOTS of other Dept 56 Village decorative items in my inventory. This is a vintage 2004 Department 56 “Crystal Gardens Conservatory” greenhouse from the Christmas in The City Series. Very good pre-owned condition – tested and working. Does not include the bag of snow, the additional large tree or 2 taller trees with the Crystal Gardens Holiday Floral Show sign. Includes original box and AC adapter.
