Dept 56 Lenox China Shop. This was in a taped plastic bag. I opened it and it looks new. I put batteries in and it lights up. Does not have light cord or figures on front. It already runs on battery operated lights inside. I hear a small piece of plaster loose inside house, but no damage. Must be a factory blemish. As is, see pics and judge, all sales final.

It features Display Anywhere Lighting which uses 4 AA batteries and can be converted for use with a light cord. It’s in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. Building 10″ x 6″ x 7.5. Dept 56 CIC Christmas in the City Lenox China Shop 56.59263. This piece is from my personal collection and was displayed at Christmas for about 3 years. This reminded me of the beautiful Lenox Showroom which was near my house. In the pictures you can see that the house is lit with no issues. This is a free standing house, so just the push of a button is required. According to the back of the box, you can connect the house to the traditional light cords. I do not recall ever having the piece required for that. The details of the CIC houses, though, are amazing. In the Lenox Shop you see dishes, the Lenox slogan “Gifts That Celebrate Life”, and the design at the top appears to me to be from the Autumn pattern. I may be wrong. The box shows some shelfwear.
