This Department 56 Christmas in the City building belongs to a mega Dept. She owns nearly every building in every village – and dearly needs to downsize! Although the outside cellophane wrap has long since disappeared, this 2008 release, very fun building has never been out of the box. I had to gingerly open it up to inspect it for you. It’s in perfect condition with no chips, cracks, nicks, ticks…………. Or all of the other words used to describe damage. I plugged it in to validate the light and the motor which rotates the people around the baggage claim area is in good working order – it works perfectly! This is a limited edition building with only 7,000 made, and this piece is numbered 2188! A very low number indeed! This building receives a solid A+! Weighs 9 pounds before packing material.
