This Department 56 Christmas in the City Yankee Stadium captures the historic 1923 “House That Ruth Built” in wonderful detail. The stadium is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or broken pieces. One of the flags has chips along its top as shown in the last pictures. This 2001 release features a hand-painted brick exterior, ticket booths, American flags, and a commemorative backside listing New York Yankees MVPs and World Series titles through 2000. But this club also offers squash, tennis, or you can swim laps in the pool. The building measures approximately 3.5″ long x 5.5″ wide x 9.5 tall. It comes in its original styrofoam box with the original light cord and 3 green flags. The building is brand new and has never been displayed. It was produced in 1998 and retired in 2000.

The house is complete. Comes with original box, sleeve, new old stock light cord as well. I noticed no chips aside from possibly a paint imperfection inside the house. See the close up of inside the window where the piano hangs. Nothing can touch that spot from the outside so I imagine it was done when made. This is by far the best example I’ve seen in a while.
