The Singer Building home to Singer Company was a 47 story building built in 1908 in Lower Manhattan in New York City. It was the tallest building in the world when completed in 1908. The building was designed by Earnest Flagg and was an example of the early Beauz-Arts architectural style. The building was demolished for new construction in 1968 and was the tallest sky scraper in the world to be demolished.
