From Department 56’s Christmas In The City collection. Located on Lenox Ave in Harlem, The Savoy Ballroom, was considered the heart of this New York community. Hosting the best bands of the time, the newest dances were conceived here, from the Lindy Hop to the Mambo and Charleston. Please take care to only handle by the solid porcelain sections of the building. Brand new in box. It may have been removed and inspected by the retail dealer. This process was more important years ago when the items were not packed as well; however, habits persist. Box / sleeve with minimal shelf wear unless otherwise noted. We recently received almost the entire Christmas in the City, Alpine Village, North Pole, Disney Parks Village series and other Dept 56 villages from a former dealer and serious collector who took great pride in her collection. In order to list as many pieces as quickly as possible, we may just show the box/sleeve in the photos. We absolutely promise that all buildings and accessories list are in perfect, working condition with all separate attachments included. To ensure that you are alerted to all new items as they are listed. We appreciate being contacted for ANY questions, comments or concerns. Our packing team places each collectible box under UV light for 10 minutes per exposed surface, which has been shown to eradicate “germs” on the surface. Specific virus names cannot be listed here per policy (apparently); however, you know which one we are targeting. This process does not harm your collectible nor change the printing on the box.
