DEPT 56 HOLIDAY COLLECTION. A hand painted porcelain Flatiron Building by Dept. It features a realistic replica of the famous New York Landmark, complete with carved architectural elements like lion heads. Snow lines the roof and street. The interior is lit with two bulbs operated with a switch on the cord (worked upon testing). This piece is a part of Dept. 56s Christmas in the City series. “Flatiron Building” is a release in the Christmas in the City series. It is mint and comes in the original packaging and box. It is complete with the building, light post with on/off switch (not pictured), and removable wreath and garland. The only issue I see is that the removable garland will need new self-adhesive on the back. There is minor wear on the edges of the outer sleeve and the styrofoam is excellent. Released in 2006 and retired in 2010, it is numbered #56 5926-0 and and is exquisite. It is complete and in mint condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs. You can see that there are no defects. Flutiron stood behind the glass of the bookcase. The lamps were not used by me, but you need to connect the electric plug to the wire. Most likely the lamps are working, but I can not guarantee this. Inside, I installed a flexible amber color filter. It gives a wonderful color to the glow of this model. If you want, you can delete it. The model will be very carefully packed and will arrive to you intact.
