This is a collectible, retired piece from the Department 56 Christmas in the City collection. It was originally known as “Hemingway’s Cigar Shop” before the name change, and some early versions might even have a misspelling of “Hemingway” on the bottom. The piece depicts a detailed building with Christmas decorations and an Indian chief statue outside, designed to evoke the atmosphere of a city cigar shop. It is intended for indoor use only. This particular item is considered rare and highly sought after by collectors.
