A Department 56 Collectible. Christmas in the City. New – Very small black blemish-see photo’s. Original Styrofoam Box and Sleeve are present. May have minimal, if any, shelf wear. Has display anywhere light cord. Photo’s are of actual piece that you will receive. This is becoming a very RARE piece to find in this condition! This is old store stock. It has been in storage since at least 2008 – probably longer (as they put the last of their items from the closed shops in storage in 2008 – many items were already in storage when they closed the stores). Some of the items are. Brand New with Perfect or near Perfect Original Packaging. New with Minimal Wear or a Minor Flaw to the Packaging such as a faint water stain or have crinkled corners or dimples, a very small amount of yellow age spots may be present or starting. New – No Sleeve or Heavily Flawed Sleeve (for example; yellow age spots, tears, water damaged/stained, crushed corners). Some were just outright Used – Store Displayed. Often, we have the same piece with various different conditions. Obviously the more issues with a piece, the cheaper the price will be! Should you need quantity of an item—we may have it available-let us know. As these pieces tend to be older (15-30 years old on average), occasionally factory glue has yellowed and can become noticeable at connection points over the years. Also keep in mind, as most of the pieces are hand painted porcelain built in sections, individual nuances do occur such as being able to see the brush strokes or a missed corner being painted. We do check every piece and try to describe each as accurately as possible but we may miss some due to the shear volume we are looking at!
