Dept 56 – Cathedral of St. Nicholas – Dickens Village Retired/Limited. Dept 56 – Christmas in the City Series – the Cathedral of St. Nicholas, # 59248SE, limited edition and made for the 30th anniverseryll limited to 3500 pieces in series run. This breathtaking piece showcases the Cathedral of St Nicolas in all its beautiful details. This item is USED and WELL LOVED. Item needs a real good polishing. The top of the steeple? Is missing the cross on the very tip top, and the fence on top of the church is missing half, still have the other half that broke off, you can glue it back on if you wish. Comes in the original sleeve I believe it’s called. Looks just like the box but you’re able to pull the styrofoam through on either top or bottom, and sleeve/box thing has a word written on it. Other than that this piece is in tip top condition and needs a good home! Comes with lights with two bulbs that can light up this and another home in your collection! May have glitter on it still! This is a HUGE box, is 12L x 8.5W x 15H and weighs around 8lbs. Great for Christmas or anytime of the year! One of the most elaborately designed and highly sought-after churches of all villages. Design features include numerous buttresses, spires, stained-glass windows and “pearlized” details. Please take care to only handle by the solid porcelain sections of the building. Box / sleeve with minimal shelf wear unless otherwise noted. We recently received almost the entire Christmas in the City, Alpine Village, North Pole, Disney Parks Village series and other Dept 56 villages from a former dealer and serious collector who took great pride in her collection.
