This is a Department 56 building titled Thompson’s Furniture Store from the Christmas in the City Series. It is new, unused, in the original box. The building is a new item from a closed gift store and is unused but it does appear that the chimney has been reglued (see close up photo) – otherwise good condition.

This limited-edition collectible features a multicolor painted finish and is part of the Christmas in the City collection by Department 56. The American-themed village house is perfect for holiday enthusiasts looking to add a festive touch to their seasonal decor. Made in China, this original piece comes in original Styrofoam packaging and is a must-have for collectors of Christmas villages. This is a brand-new NRFB collector piece. The piece has never been removed from the box. I’ve had experience, as well as many of experienced collectors, in the past of taking a piece out of the Styrofoam and it was in there so tight that the Styrofoam either cracked or broke off. I hope you can understand why all of my pictures are taken this way. For those interested, my home is smoke-free and pet-free.
