Department 56 The Times Tower 2000 Special Edition Christmas in the City Gift Set #55510 (retired). Commemorating Times Square in the year 2000. A Beautiful Village Piece. The ball drop mechanism works for the ascending and descending of the ball with one small crystal missing (toward the back of the tower). Was put back in the box and has been there ever since. Includes: The “Times Tower” Porcelain Lighted Building. “The New Years Kiss” Porcelain Accessory. 1 Small container of Confetti. Additional snap-on numbers for Celebration Beyond 2000. A plug in light with 2 bulbs that is inserted in the bottom. (see pics for info) for the ball to drop. 20.3 x 9.4 x 7.2 inches. My items come from a smoke free home. The “20” use to be “200” the previous owner broke off one of the “0” this now makes it nearly impossible to get the numbers to stay in place on the tower. Everything is in great working condition. Ball drops, raises, and lights all work as intended. Confetti and interchangeable numbers are still sealed never opened. Comes with all original pieces, plugs, cord, and double light bulb fixture for skyscrapers. Item was removed from packaging twice. I took it out once 4 years ago to show my mother how it works and the second time was for these pictures. Box has some wear from storage.
