The DEPT 56 “Christmas in the City” – THE GRAND HOTEL is a brand new porcelain Christmas village piece from Department 56. This multicolored building, measuring 6.25 inches in length and 8.5 inches in height, is part of the Christmas in the City collection and features an American style with a painted finish. The retired item, manufactured in 2015, depicts a grand hotel and is designed for any room during the holiday season. Made in China, this collectible piece adds charm to any village display. This is a brand-new NRFB collector piece. The piece has never been removed from the box. I’ve had experience, as well as many of experienced collectors, in the past of taking a piece out of the Styrofoam and it was in there so tight that the Styrofoam either cracked or broke off. I hope you can understand why all of my pictures are taken this way. For those interested, my home is smoke-free and pet-free.

The house is complete. Comes with original box, sleeve, new old stock light cord as well. I noticed no chips aside from possibly a paint imperfection inside the house. See the close up of inside the window where the piano hangs. Nothing can touch that spot from the outside so I imagine it was done when made. This is by far the best example I’ve seen in a while. Well taken care of piece. The Dept 56 Christmas In The City Series “Hammerstein Piano Co” 799941 is a rare and complete collectible from 2008. 56 Christmas In The City “Caffe’ Tazio ” #56.59253. It is in very good displayed condition. It comes with anywhere lighting. I have found no chips or cracks. The previous owner broke the back lamp over the door in the back of the building, he told me when he was putting it away for the season and forgot about it. He bought a silver replacement one that looks great with it. The broken one is included, if you have a steady hand you could repair it. A regular light cord collar is included but a light cord is NOT, Dept. 56 didn’t include one with it. The detail is great. It measures 9 inches high x 5 1/2 inches long x 4 1/2 inches wide. It is a great for display in your village. Every village needs a coffee shop. It has been stored in a smoke free home. The sleeve is clean. I will do all I can to resolve any issue as I may have missed something in my description but never intentionally.

Hosting the best bands of the time, the newest dances were conceived here, from the Lindy Hop to the Mambo and Charleston. Dept 56 #6005383, introduced in Jan 2020 and retired in Nov 2021.
