Set is from the Department 56 1998 Heritage Village – Christmas In The City Collection and is retired (1998), rare, and hard to find. Set is skillfully handcrafted porcelain and beautifully hand painted. Set is titled Scottie’s Toy Shop (58871) and features a snow-covered three-story red brick store decorated with pine boughs, wreaths, and red ribbon that features a window filled with a variety of colorful toys inside while children and parents wonder the cobblestone street outside. Dept 56 The Majestic Theater Christmas in the City – Limited Edition Boxed 2009 One extremely small chip on the bottom left front of the front of Building. The very small chip (as shown in picture) almost appears as snow and would be easily hidden in setting or fixable. The rest of the building is in excellent condition. I’ve had experience, as well as many of experienced collectors, in the past of taking a piece out of the Styrofoam and it was in there so tight that the Styrofoam either cracked or broke off.
