The building measures approx. 9 inches high x 6 inches long x 5 inches wide. It is in very good displayed condition. It was well cared for. Check out the front window to see the 3-D interior scene of the beautiful Baby Grand. Also check out the upright being lowered down the side of the building. The building comes with a light cord. I have found no chips or cracks. 56 collector and it has been stored in a smoke free home. Check out my other auctions for more great Dept. 56 and other items. Dept 56 Christmas in the City. It was a production sample from 2007 and retired in 2009. The sculpture is about 9 inches tall and 5 by 5 inches at the base. The building has the Dept 56 hallmark on the bottom. The detail on this piece is really well done. When the light is on you can look in the window and see a piano. This Department 56 Christmas in the City building belongs to a mega Dept. She owns nearly every building in every village and couldn’t possible display them all – and now dearly needs to downsize! Although the outside cellophane wrap has long since disappeared, this 2007 release, very fun building has never been out of the box. I had to gingerly open it up to inspect it for you. It’s in perfect condition with no chips, cracks, nicks, ticks…………. Or all of the other words used to describe damage. I didn’t want to unwrap the light cord – but no doubt it works just fine. This building rarely appears, don’t wait for another – this is the one you want. This building receives a solid A+!
