Now, they are releasing the original 3,500 held back. The original Artist signed each piece AND then numbered each one signed – Thus you will receive #_______ of 3,500 Signed. Sleeve: Has normal shelf wear and tear. Has proper light cord. Note: as these are hand painted porcelain, individual nuances do occur—for example—a corner might have been missed being fully painted or you may be able to see brush strokes. It has been in storage since at least 2008 – probably longer (as they put the last of their items from the closed shops in storage in 2008 – many items were already in storage when they closed the stores). The “Cathedral of Saint Paul” is one of the loveliest as well as most intricate pieces ever designed by Department 56 and is a fitting addition to their Historic Landmark Series. It is 11″ long, 7 1/4″ deep and 12 tall and looks stunning! Though lightly used, it is in remarkable condition with no signs of use. The original 2 light cord, box, packing material, and pamphlets are included. The original box does have light wear and a couple of small tears that have been taped. This final round of production was stored at the factory for a future very limited re-release.
