You are being offered a Department 56 “Tower Restaurant, ” from the Heritage Village Collection, Christmas In The City Series. It was issued in 1987 and retired in 1990. It is a hand painted porcelain building and as such may contain imperfections such as small indentations, rough spots, crazing, or other slight flaws that occur during manufacturing. Unique variations should be expected seeing as this is a hand painted item. It includes a light cord with on/off switch. Sleeve reads Tower Cafe. Bottom has no name. Early pieces are very dark. Later ones are lighter. This is the later version. Has 11 window grates. This building is in “MINT” condition, including the original fitted Styrofoam box with cellophane wrappings which may have been removed for photography (see Photograph #3 above). The sleeve/outer box shows signs of storage and/or age (see Photograph #3 above). There are no chips, cracks or repairs to this item. The Department 56 logo and/or sticker is on the mold which guarantees authenticity (see Photograph #2 above). Please review the photographs to make your own assessment of the condition of this item.
